Bridge

Sometimes, we also consider simple things around. We should also give care to others than them giving care to us. We will not only receive but also to give. Maybe we can also be an instrument for someone’s or two person’s reconciliation. This is the insight and realization that I get from the text “The Carpenter’s Gift”. It is the story of how a carpenter made a way o the reconciliation of two brothers. Instead of building a fence that the older brother told him to do, he build a bridge. The two brothers are shocked but, building the bridge made a good result. Maybe in the carpenter’s part, he feels a satisfaction, joy, and a sweet accomplishment for what he did. He is the instrument and the way of their reconciliation.
I don’t see myself being in a situation like that. Or doing things like that, being a peacemaker and not a trouble maker and to have a concern in other people’s destroyed relationship. But this story awakes me and makes me realize.
Bottom line, if you can do well to others, does it without any hesitation.

Being a peacemaker and not a troublemaker.
                                                                and
                                                Make yourself an instrument.
